I have heard through the grapevine that McKesson is planning to transition providers away from the desktop version of Medisoft towards their cloud-based program. I know they offer the EMR with Medisoft, but I have heard that eventually the desktop version will be obsolete as McKesson has reduced the number of developers for the program (to only 1) and drastically reduced the amount of money they are putting into Medisoft as the resources are being shifted to a cloud-based (more expensive!!) program.Obviously Version 19 is coming out later this year, but do you have any idea if this will be the last version of the desktop version of Medisoft...or is McKesson working on a Version 20?Steve
