The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) has announced the launch of its new Health IT Dashboard this week. The dashboard, accessible at http://dashboard.healthit.gov, was created to present key information about ONC’s strategy and grants programs, regional extension centers, and other research data regarding the national adoption of healthcare IT.
The Health IT Dashboard contains charts, graphs, and over 150 maps to offer detailed ONC data at state, county, and grantee levels. Performance data presentations for the Community College Consortia to Educate Health IT Professionals and the Health IT Regional Extension Centers are available, as well as summary information about all of ONC’s healthcare innovation grant programs.
An Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Health Information Exchange (HIE) dashboard is slated to be added to the site in June. EHR systems such as Medisoft Clinical, Lytec MD, and Allscripts MyWay are important healthcare IT tools and can be professionally implemented by Microwize Technology.
