Tagged: diagnosis tab, ICD-10, medisoft, POA
POA: These fields only appear if you have turned off the option to suppress UB-04 fields in the Program Options, Data Entry tab. They indicate whether the diagnosis was present when the patient was admitted. If applicable, the POA indicator prints after the diagnosis code on the UB-04 form.
What is UB-04?
When you are billing CMS-1500 aka 837p (professional billing for doctors) when you bill UB04 aka 837i (hospital or institutional billing)
