When printing a claim or a statement, a user will receive this message, followed by an Access Violation error. The common reason why this error appears is because of a claim that does not have a valid claim status. By default, you will not see the "Claim Status 1", "Claim Status 2", and "Claim Status 3" as fields inside of Claim Management. You will need to add these fields to the view. Once you have added the fields, sort by "Claim Status 1", "Claim Status 2", and "Claim Status 3", in the Claim Management window and verify whether or not a ( - ) appears in any of those fields. If it does, open the Claim the corresponds with the ( - ) and assign it a status as "done". Save the claim and make the adjustment for any other claims that share the same problem. Once this has been completed, close and re-open Medisoft. Then, print a claim and see if the error occurs once more. If it does, re-check the claims to make sure all ( - ) have been removed from the Claim Status Fields.=====The error: ‘-‘ is not a valid integer value can happen within Statement Management after utilizing the Change Status button.
