Cloud-Based Medical Office Software & Billing Services › User Forum › ICD-10 › What is the best way to see which insurance company will be for ICD10?
A: Hopefully the payers are communicating with your practice to update you on what they are receiving. If there is a lack of communication then check the company’s website for more information. Notice the difference between a company mandating ICD10 (that is the only code they will accept) and being ready (can accept but does not require) for ICD10. Additionally be careful of Safe Harbor (whether code must be specified or unspecified when sent to the company).
