It’s in the case under condition tab accident date. FYI if you go to the help menu and you search for CMS 2-12 clickable it will give you an image of the CMS form, when you click on any of the boxes it will tell you where the information comes from in Medisoft.

Poxyphil, electronic claims are limited to 4 diagnosis per CPT code and this is an ANSI5010 requirement.

Dr. Lanning thank you for the questions! The app was not designed to print the superbill, it was designed to push the code into the Medisoft transaction entry. In regards to the order, it is a great suggestion and we’ve already submitted an enhancement request. For any additional Medisoft ICD-10 support questions, feel free to post in the forum again or call us at 800-955-0321.

EncoderPro is not designed to search by description but by code, if you search for any code related to that area you will start to see the whole family of code listed one under the other. For example for code: 728.85 in the parenthesis (spasm of muscle) that code should’ve been mapped in Medisoft GEMcode M62.40. EncoderPro will help you find the extended code related to this condition so if you search for M62.4 then you will find in EncoderPro M62.411 M62.412 etc. For additional help call 800-955-0321 for Medisoft ICD-10 support.

    Hi Dr. Hammell,
ICD-10 coding will have a 0 indicating ICD-10, and 9 is an indicator for ICD-9.
