I am writing to you and your Microwize team to thank you for the past two years of help and service in allowing me to achieve a more efficient, effective and accurate office.

Before you set up my MediNotes / Medisoft linking system we were using pen and paper and computer software that allowed for duplication of effort, missed billing, paper claims that needed to be printed, placed in an envelope and mailed, and a sometimes rushed and not as accurate charting / documentation system.  Now data entry is done one time only, charting with a hand held Tablet PC is done quickly and accurately, and the billing is so instant that the coding and billing are complete and accurate and done before the patient’s hand touches the door knob on the way out!  We no longer miss procedures or important documentation and coding that now actually allow the highest level of reimbursement under the HIPPA correct coding initiative.

I am writing this now because recently I requested an audit from someone who worked for the OIG and Medicare and who continues to do consultation work for them and private practitioners.  This auditor came to my practice to review my charting, coding and documentation.  After reviewing several charts and the system she remarked that this was the best system she had ever seen.  A few more pointers from her on coding and documentation and we made the system even better!  She was amazed how adaptable and user friendly the program was to institute her recommendations at that very moment!

This letter was created to inform you, the management team of Microwize, of the type of service and dedication I received from Rosmary Scordamaglia. Let me preface this letter by saying I have been using Web MD for several months and have been very dissatisfied for quite sometime. Actually, it’s been a horrible experience from day one. Anyway, I called NDC Health to set up an account so that I could start billing using their software. You should know that the previous owner of the practice that I currently own used NDC in the past and was already set up with the 7.2 version of Medisoft. A sales person at NDC Health informed me that the only way I could be set up with this type of program was to buy a more advanced version of Medisoft at a cost of a few thousand dollars. I was also told that because of new HIPPA regulations, the current version that I have was not going to be allowed. Being a new business owner, I can’t afford to spend a few thousand dollars on software. (Especially if I don’t really need it) I proceeded to call Microwize on a recommendation and was lucky enough to be transferred to Rosmary Scordamaglia. Ms. Scordamaglia advised me that it was not necessary to upgrade to the 10.0 version to get my basic electronic billing done, and that there were no HIPPA regulations keeping me from using my current operating system. Rosmary did inform me of the benefits, special features and all of its bells and whistles that the upgrade can provide me with. As it turned out, Rosmary did get me set up with the NDC system, and will have my business for many years to come. The point I am making, is that in today’s salesmanship rat race, Rosmary Scordamaglia has what it takes to be honest, provide five star customer care, and go the extra mile to get the job done in a respectful and professional way. If it wasn’t for Ms. Scordamaglia, I would not have joined up with Microwize and therefore NDC Health. I feel that you have an asset on your sales team and I think other sales and service representatives could learn a lot from Ms. Scordamaglia’s methods.
